Job Summary
Medical Laboratory Scientist I performs, evaluates, and reports technical laboratory procedures on patient specimens for diagnosis and treatment, following established procedures to ensure quality control and regulatory compliance; communicates test results in a timely manner, manages resources (productivity, supplies, instruments, equipment), and plans work to complete responsibilities efficiently; role involves accurate testing, reporting, and adherence to laboratory protocols while reflecting the organization’s mission of care and service in a high-volume hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Natural Science
