MLL Teacher - JOB ID# 14084

Elementary MLL teacher will support Multilingual Learners to gain knowledge and skills needed to increase English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. The teacher will provide individual student and small group instruction, support core content area teachers, monitor student progress, and administer LAS Links assessments. Responsibilities include developing and administering curriculum aligned with CREC goals, delivering differentiated instruction, conducting ongoing progress assessments, identifying eligibility for TESOL/Bilingual services, utilizing native language support to make the curriculum accessible, acting as liaison with families and staff, and providing guidance to teachers on strategies to support Multilingual Learners. The role requires collaboration with principals and specialists and prior teaching experience in appropriate grade levels. Masters degree preferred; CT TESOL or Bilingual certification required; valid transportation required.
