MLL/Instructional Resource Teacher

Job Summary
Instructional Resource Teacher role combines teacher coaching with direct student support at Tolman High School. Responsibilities include providing ongoing professional development to teachers, modeling and designing effective instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs, identifying students needing academic support through data analysis, developing targeted intervention plans, monitoring progress, and delivering instruction to groups. The position also involves curriculum development in collaboration with curriculum specialists, facilitating professional development workshops, staying current with education research, and analyzing data to inform program improvements. Requires a Bachelor's in Education or related field (Master's preferred), valid teaching certification, and ESL Specialist/Consultant Certificate; prior classroom teaching success and experience in PD/coaching are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license
- ESL Specialist/Consultant Certificate required
- Proven experience as a classroom teacher with a successful track record of improving student outcomes
- Experience in providing professional development and coaching to teachers
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, assessment practices, and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and software for instructional purposes
- Strong commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
