Job Summary
Assess, monitor, and evaluate clients admitted to Residential and Withdrawal Management programs while providing timely updates to the Physician. Take and record accurate vital signs, assist with blood draws, and complete random and scheduled client urine tests. Document client treatment progress, incident reports, and medical follow-ups in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, facilitate referrals, and assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Perform periodic facility safety checks, observe universal precautions, and manage medication room audits. This role supports the MLK BHC residential treatment program for up to 99 adults in South Los Angeles, serving low-income and Medi-Cal-eligible individuals.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited LVN program
- Current LVN licensure in California
- Valid BLS Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Valid California driver's license
- Access to registered and insured transportation
- Experience working with diverse communities
- Experience working with dual diagnosis populations
- Must complete a background check and Live Scan
