Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that facilitate active learning for middle school students. Monitor individual student progress, adjust instructional strategies based on data, and facilitate conferences regarding grades, attendance, and pertinent topics. Participate in professional activities and collaborate effectively with interventionists, coaches, and counselors to support the whole child through character education and social-emotional learning strategies. Work collaboratively within the school community to improve instruction and reach diverse learners.
Required Qualifications
- Valid IN Teaching License
- Bachelor's degree
- Competency in using technology in the classroom setting
- Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
- A strong belief in the mission and goals of Christel House Indianapolis
