Mixteco Interpreter

Job Summary
Provide in-person interpretation at client service sites for minors, relay deadlines and questions from staff to minors in English or Mixteco, assist minors in communicating concerns to staff, provide translation/interpretation to orient minors to community resources, and support staff by conveying cultural context. Role requires working primarily in person with potential telephone, videoconference, or other virtual support; may include 24/7 availability. Requires proficiency in English and Mixteco (ILR 2+), valid driver’s license, US work authorization without sponsorship, and may involve T2 Public Trust clearance. Temporary, full-time position with travel to client sites across the United States; will be performed under applicable wage determinations and contract labor terms.
Required Qualifications
- Working proficiency (ILR 2+) in English and Mixteco
- Valid driver's license
- Work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship
- May be required to obtain a T2 Public Trust clearance
- Experience in foster care or medical care settings preferred
