Job Summary
Craft and present elevated cocktails with precision, partnering with leadership to design seasonal menus and maintain impeccable bar presentation. Deliver highly personalized beverage recommendations and anticipate guest needs while engaging confidently to drive sales and maintain compliance. Train junior staff on technique and service protocols, manage inventory counts, and handle point-of-sale transactions accurately. Monitor guest behavior, resolve complaints, and act as a brand advocate for venues and pricing. Participate in promotional events, media appearances, and themed activities to enhance the guest experience. Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in a luxury lounge environment.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience crafting alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages within a high-volume, craft beverage venue, with advanced technical skill in classic and contemporary cocktail craft — muddling, layering, house-made syrups and bitters, infusions, and garnish/flame presentation
- Valid work cards, including Health, Alcohol Awareness Card, and Non-Gaming
- Must be self-motivated and willing to learn
- Must be willing to participate in social media posting, photography, and venue-related acting or role-playing as needed
- Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, and hygiene in accordance with company policy
- Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat environment consistently
- Strong ability to connect with customers, make suggestions and drive sales
- Ability to work in low lighting and sensory-sensitive environments
- Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke
- Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, high-end lounges, cocktail bars, resorts, or other premium guest service environments preferred
