Job Summary
Weigh and measure pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to specifications, then compound ingredients per formulas and read prescriptions to determine production output. Monitor equipment for safe and efficient operation while maintaining proper PPE and following safety standards. Keep mixing equipment clean, ensure signage is legible, and dispose of chemical waste in designated containers. This safety-sensitive role requires constant alertness, outdoor work in all weather conditions, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Valid Florida driver's license is necessary for some travel. One year of experience as a Mixing Technician is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a Mixing Technician
- Valid Florida driver's license
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in the heat wearing proper P.P.E (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Must be able to work in wet, muddy, rainy conditions
- Must be able to work in all types of weather
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Must be able to work outside
- Must be able to sit, walk, stand
- Must be able to talk or hear (both in person and by telephone)
- Must be able to use hands repetitively to handle standard mixing equipment
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
