Job Summary
Operate production equipment including manual mixers, batching systems, and extruders while accurately weighing and blending raw materials according to precise formulas. Monitor production runs to ensure quality compliance, perform routine preventative maintenance, and maintain 5S housekeeping standards. Keep accurate production logs and complete required digital inventory transactions throughout the shift. This role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs in an industrial plant environment with exposure to heat, dust, and noise. Full-time position with hourly pay ranging from $25.98 to $31.02.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to distinguish colors for product identification and quality verification
- Comfortable working in an industrial plant environment (exposure to heat, dust, noise, and moving machinery) utilizing required PPE
- Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Occasionally lift to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a full shift
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to follow detailed technical instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing, chemical blending, mixing, extrusion, rubber/plastics, or wire & cable industries
- Experience with forklifts
- Experience with SAP systems
- Technical/vocational training
