Job Summary
Accumulate pre-approved ingredients from production bins and clearly document materials used on each mix with total shift calculations. Accurately record lot codes, batch tickets, and waste logs while ensuring all materials are stored properly per formula and build sheets. Monitor material temperatures, maintain sanitary conditions throughout the shift, and ensure mixing bowls and carts are free of excess material between mixes. Report unsanitary equipment conditions, defective machinery, and quality issues to supervisors or technicians. Follow approved formulas unless authorized by R&D, comply with food allergen programs, and adhere to safety procedures for operating blending equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to communicate in English and write correspondence
- Flexibility to work various hours and shifts
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
