Job Summary
Accumulate pre-approved ingredients from production bins and clearly document materials used on each mix with total shift figures. Accurately record lot codes, batch tickets, and waste logs while ensuring all materials are stored properly per formula and build sheets. Monitor material temperatures, maintain sanitary conditions throughout the shift, and ensure mixing bowls and carts are free of excess material. Report unsanitary equipment conditions, defective machinery, quality problems with ingredients or finished mixes, and any overuse of materials to supervisors or quality technicians. Follow approved formulas unless authorized by R&D, comply with Steven Charles product quality standards, and manage food allergen programs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to communicate in English and write correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to leads, supervisors and R&D
- Flexibility to work various hours and shifts
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
