Job Summary
Mixer position responsible for setting up, operating and tending equipment to mix or blend ingredients for dairy snacks, including chickpeas and spices. Operate pumps and conveyors, read work orders, and ensure conformance to product specifications. Weigh and measure ingredients, start/stop machines, collect samples for testing, and record production data. Maintain safety and quality by observing SOPs and GMPs, and adapt to changing priorities in a damp refrigerated environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work as a flexible, responsible team member; English proficiency required, with Spanish preferred. Attendance is an essential function; position available on 1st shift at Cedar’s Foods in Haverhill, MA.
