Job Summary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, operate a conveyor truck to deliver and place construction materials at customer job sites, and load, transport, and unload materials efficiently while following all safety procedures. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries, maintain equipment cleanliness, and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check, with some positions requiring FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work in environments involving moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Ability to operate a conveyor truck safely and effectively
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and responsible equipment operation
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections, complete required paperwork, and follow operating procedures
- Effective communication and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment
- Capability to work independently, adapt to changing job site conditions, and manage delivery schedules
- Must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination
- Must submit to drug/alcohol screen
- Must submit to background check
- FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
