Job Summary
The Mix Room Operator will be responsible for operating blending equipment, following recipes, and maintaining inventory in a GMP-regulated food manufacturing environment, with a pay range of $20-25/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Production and machine operation experience, preferably in a GMP environment
- 6+ months of machine operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs on occasion and consistently bend, twist, and crouch
- Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
- Ability to learn and operate systems including WMS, Red Zone, and DEACON
- Chemical blending, batching, and compounding knowledge in a food manufacturing setting
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Food industry experience is a plus
- Ability to learn how to drive a forklift
