Job Summary
Mixer role on 2nd and 3rd shifts responsible for combining raw ingredients from silos and bins into a dough according to a predetermined formula to produce batches. Must maintain dough consistency, monitor line speeds, perform changeovers, and deliver dough to the processing line. Requires knowledge of GMP and LOTO procedures, ability to read formulas, operate and train on PIT equipment, complete paperwork accurately, and ensure safety. Must be able to work with a team, adhere to company policies, and participate in training of new employees. Shift differential of $0.75 applies; starting pay $21.43 per hour with increases at 6 months and 1 year. Location: York, PA (US).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be trained in LOTO procedures
- PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) certification or training
- Ability to read and interpret formulas and formula sheets
- Experience or ability to operate in a food-manufacturing environment and follow GMP requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs (shared weight up to 100 lbs)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
