Mixed Veterinary Surgeon

Greenside Vet Practice is seeking a personable Veterinary Surgeon for a mixed practice role focused on small animal work with farm on-call. The role includes a varied caseload with consulting and surgical duties, opportunities to develop individual interests, and a flexible rota (4-day week, limited weekends on call). The position involves travel to Jedburgh and Hawick (20 minutes away) for covering farm/large animal work, with a supportive, collaborative team culture, emphasis on colleague wellbeing and professional development, and access to extensive facilities and CPD. The ideal candidate has 2+ years' experience, strong communication skills, and enjoys both companion animal and farm practice, with a role that combines clinical duties, on-call responsibilities, and potential for further clinical interests.
