Job Summary
Mixed Signal Design Verification Engineer at Intel India Bangalore. Perform functional verification of mixed-signal logic components, develop IP verification plans and test benches, define and execute simulation models to verify performance and timing, conduct root-cause analysis of failing pre-silicon tests, and collaborate with digital/analog architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to refine features. Lead technical reviews of test plans and validation proofs, maintain verification methodologies and tooling, and apply experience with SystemVerilog/UVM, Verilog, and EDA simulators (VCS, Xcelium, Questa) as well as scripting (Python/Perl/Tcl) for testbench automation. Familiarity with JTAG/IJTAG/CRI/APB and low-power techniques (UPF, clock gating) is expected; knowledge of Formal Property Verification and version control (Git/Perforce) is preferred. The role is based in India (Bangalore) with a hybrid work model.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics and communication or electrical engineering, VLSI Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree in ASIC or IP verification
- Proficiency in mixed signal verification and hands on in IP verification using System Verilog, UVM, and Verilog
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools, such as Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, or Mentor Questa
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Tcl for automation
- Familiarity with standard protocols including JTAG, IJTAG, CRI, and APB
- Expertise in constraint-random test generation, root cause analysis, and debugging of complex mixed signal designs
- Preferred: UPF and clock gating for low-power design techniques
- Knowledge of Formal Property Verification tools and version control systems such as Git or Perforce
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
