Job Summary
Hands-on mixed animal veterinary assistant/technician supporting veterinarians across small and large animal care, assisting with examinations, treatments, and procedures for both small and large animals; preparing and restraining patients; monitoring anesthesia and supporting surgical procedures and recovery; providing large animal and farm-call support; handling off-site visits and after-hours emergencies; performing laboratory testing, radiographs, and basic diagnostics; administering medications, vaccines, and fluids; maintaining detailed patient records; effective client communication and education; maintaining a clean, well-stocked treatment environment; and participating in a rotating on-call schedule (approx. 1 night per week or every other week, with weekend on-call every 6–8 weeks). Must be comfortable in a fast-paced clinical setting and capable of lifting 40+ lbs; strong teamwork and organizational skills; opportunities for professional growth and licensure support.
