Job Summary
Conduct pre-start safety and sanitation inspections, weigh and blend mixes per production schedules, and monitor incoming raw materials to ensure food safety standards. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to meet control department standards, communicate production run schedules, and document downtime and quantities produced. Maintain clean and organized Mix and storage areas, perform allergen cleans, and ensure all equipment follows the Master Sanitation Schedule. Seal and palletize finished goods, attach labels, and manage inventory adjustments while reporting quality issues to supervisors. Work 3-11 pm or 11 pm - 7 am shifts, with evenings and weekends possible.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Follow all food, safety rules and regulations
- Understanding of basic principles of the BRC program and other food safety policies/procedures
- Safety training
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Multitask
- Able to read and write in English
- Spanish speaking
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to utilize computers for data entry, recipe card retrieval, and label making
- Ability to use basic math to calculate ingredient amounts
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral instructions
- Adhere to all GMP Procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Wear all protective equipment
- Wear all approved clothing/garments
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Work hours will be 3-11 pm or 11 pm - 7 am
- Evenings, and weekends may be required
- We need individuals for all 3 shifts
