Job Summary

Clean and dry internal areas of water or storm-damaged properties using specialized extraction and drying equipment. Identify wet items, remove drywall and flooring, clear debris, and pump water out while maintaining excellent customer service for property owners. Communicate job updates and progress with clients, insurance representatives, and the Project Manager. Respond 24x7 as needed for rotating on-call and response requirements. Physically lift up to 100 pounds, climb, balance, and access roofs with a 28' ladder to manage catastrophic events from fire, water, and storm damage.

Required Qualifications

  • Successfully completed the IICRC WRT course or another industry recognized/approved class
  • one to two years related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • The ability to write routine reports, correspondence
  • The ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization in the English language
  • knowledge of industry related software
  • ability to touch type
  • familiarity with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • ability to communicate via cell phone and appropriate apps
  • ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
