Job Summary
Clean and dry internal areas of water and storm-damaged properties using specialized extraction and drying equipment. Identify wet items, remove drywall and flooring, and clear all debris from sites. Provide excellent customer service by communicating job updates and progress to clients, insurance representatives, and the Project Manager. Respond 24x7 as needed for emergency situations. This labor-intensive role requires climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 100 pounds while navigating hazardous conditions including extreme weather, high places, and toxic chemicals. Candidates must possess IICRC WRT certification or equivalent experience and be willing to work rotating on-call shifts with overtime as required. Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed the IICRC WRT course or another industry recognized/approved class
- one to two years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports, correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization in the English language
- Knowledge of industry related software
- Ability to touch type
- Familiarity with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to communicate via cell phone and appropriate apps
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in the English language
