Job Summary
The Mitigation Technician is responsible for performing water and storm damage cleanup at properties, using specialized equipment to assess and remove damage, and providing excellent customer service. They should embody core values such as a Can-do Attitude and Responsible Stewardship. The role requires physical stamina to lift heavy items, perform manual labor, and respond to emergency situations on a rotating on-call basis. Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and should have completed the IICRC WRT course or similar training, with relevant experience being a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Successfully completed the IICRC WRT course or another industry recognized/approved class
- One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Knowledge of industry related software
