Job Summary
Entry-level Mitigation Technician in Avon to respond to property damage calls and assist with restoring homes after water, fire, and storm events. You will extract water, set up drying equipment, demo damaged materials, clean and restore contents, and work with a crew while learning the science of restoration (psychrometrics, structural drying, microbial remediation). Training is provided; paid IICRC certification; opportunity for advancement; overtime available for emergency work; starting pay $23–$26/hour with a signing bonus after training. You’ll interact with homeowners on potentially difficult days and contribute to the recovery process. Two years in, technicians can earn more; ten years can lead to management paths; promotion from within. Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- on-call rotation
