Job Summary
The Mitigation Technician at Big Bear Restoration performs water, fire, and mold restoration projects in residential and commercial settings. Key responsibilities include executing demolition and labor-intensive tasks, maintaining equipment and vehicle cleanliness, preparing work areas, and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with excellent communication skills, capable of physically demanding work including lifting heavy objects. Experience in cleaning/restoration is preferred and IICRC certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and over 21 years old
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
- Great teammate with excellent customer service skills
- Effectively communicate with others
- Basic math and computer skills
