Job Summary
Mitigation Project Manager/Estimator responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for restoration projects by estimating the scope and cost of the loss; directing and coordinating field activities related to mitigation teams and subcontractors; and managing the project schedule. Responsibilities include estimating commercial water, fire, asbestos, mold/environmental, and biohazard restoration projects; negotiating restoration services and some insurance claim settlements; planning, organizing, leading and managing crews from start to finish; managing approved subcontractors; building and maintaining client relationships through daily communication and site visits; serving on the emergency response team and dispatch; partnering with teammates daily; delivering accurate invoices and supporting collections; attending company and team meetings and training; and performing additional duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as a project manager, preferably in the restoration industry
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record
- Preferred restoration certifications including asbestos, lead and mold
