Job Summary
Mitigation Manager leads field response teams in restoring properties after disasters (water, fire, or storm damage). Manages on-site projects, coordinates crews, supervises mitigation technicians, and oversees budgets to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Maintains professional communication with homeowners, business owners, subcontractors, and internal teams; ensures readiness of crews, equipment, and vehicles for emergency responses; conducts regular meetings, goal setting, and performance reviews to support team development; promotes professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 4–7 years of mitigation experience; strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills; ability to lead and supervise diverse teams; valid driver’s license; physical ability to perform duties at job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 4 – 7 years mitigation experience REQUIRED
- Experience in a customer-focused environment, especially in fast-paced or high-stress situations
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt
- Positive attitude and ability to work well on a team
- Ability to supervise, support, and work effectively with employees, vendors, and the public
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Physical requirements: Lift 5-40 lbs constantly, lift 20-100 lbs frequently, ability to move between job sites, etc.
