Job Summary
Assess property damage and develop accurate scopes of work for restoration and remediation projects resulting from water, fire, mold, or storm incidents. Analyze labor, materials, and equipment requirements to create detailed estimates using industry-standard tools while ensuring alignment with insurance carrier guidelines. Establish strong customer relationships by educating clients on timelines and expectations, then collaborate with project managers and field teams to validate pricing and production approaches. Coordinate with external resources such as adjusters and engineers to finalize full project scopes. This full-time role requires on-call availability for emergency responses, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a valid driver's license. Compensation ranges from $60k to $80k plus performance bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in restoration estimating, water/fire mitigation, and/or insurance adjusting
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally to job sites as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emergency service environment with shifting priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with production crews and office staff
- Proficiency in estimating software and familiarity with insurance carrier guidelines and TPA programs
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in evaluating property damage and determining scope of work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, adjusters, and internal teams
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage customers during stressful loss situations

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Business, or related field preferred
