Job Summary
Manage global supply chains by independently preparing customs declarations and handling all legal export procedures. Coordinate national and international freight forwarding orders to ensure on-time deliveries while conducting regular market comparisons to negotiate transport rates. Monitor shipments via track-and-trace systems, serving as the primary contact for delays or damages, and verify incoming freight and customs invoices for accuracy. Collaborate closely with purchasing, international customer service, and warehouse teams to streamline operations. This role requires a commercial background in logistics or customs, proficiency in customs law and software like ATLAS, and strong German and English communication skills. Based in Ratingen, the position offers a stable career path within a growing B2B industrial supply company with flexible working hours.
Required Qualifications
- Eine erfolgreich abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung (z. B. Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung, Groß- und Außenhandel) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- fundierte Berufserfahrung in der Logistik und Zollabwicklung
- Gute Kenntnisse im Zoll- und Außenwirtschaftsrecht
- Umgang mit gängiger Zollsoftware (z. B. ATLAS)
- Eine strukturierte, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Fähigkeit, auch bei komplexen logistischen Herausforderungen den Überblick zu behalten
- Sicheren Umgang mit dem PC (MS Office, insbesondere Excel)
- Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch (in Wort und Schrift)
