Manager in Training will fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This is an entry level management role within the store level. Responsibilities include driving sales and profitability, delivering high-level customer service, communicating store goals, supervising performance metrics (sales volume, hourly production, units per transaction, charge accounts, loss prevention), leading and developing the store team, executing floor set guides and promotions, maintaining visual merchandising standards, assessing and fulfilling customer merchandise needs, coordinating markdowns/transfers, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom, and collaborating with Store Management and other partners to achieve store objectives. Required skills include enthusiasm for the brand, strong customer service and communication abilities, problem solving, team leadership, discipline, adaptability, and quick learning.
