Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) will manage store operations and staff in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, demonstrating leadership in driving sales and customer service. Responsibilities include assisting in setting operational goals, evaluating staff performance, and ensuring compliance with merchandise presentation standards. Candidates must possess strong customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to problem solve and take initiative. A background in retail is preferred, and the role requires standing for long periods and lifting weights between 15-30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required
