Job Summary
The Manager in Training will manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This role involves driving sales and achieving established goals through strong customer service and effective team management. Responsibilities include assisting in operational goal communication, monitoring individual performance metrics, executing floor set guides, and maintaining merchandise presentation. Candidates should possess strong leadership qualities, organizational skills, and problem solving capabilities. A background in retail is preferred, along with a minimum age of 18 and a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds.
