Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) is an entry-level management role responsible for managing store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. Key responsibilities include driving sales and profitability, demonstrating high levels of customer service, assisting in monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with visual merchandising standards. Required skills include leadership, strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for the brand. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Background in retail is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of experience in retail preferred
- College degree a plus but not required
