Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) will manage store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, focusing on achieving sales and profitability goals. Responsibilities include demonstrating leadership in sales, assisting management with operational goals, monitoring performance metrics, executing visual merchandising standards, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. This entry-level management role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability, alongside a passion for customer service and team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
