Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) will manage store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. Responsibilities include driving sales and profitability, assisting in monitoring performance related to sales, and managing visual merchandising. Applicants should have a background in retail, effective communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to lift 15-30 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required
- Communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
