Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) is responsible for managing store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, demonstrating leadership in driving sales and customer service. Key duties include assisting in the monitoring of performance metrics, ensuring compliance with visual merchandising standards, and addressing customer merchandise needs. This entry-level management role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to lead a team and achieve results.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
