Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) is responsible for managing store operations and staff in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, focusing on achieving sales and profitability goals. Key responsibilities include leading customer service efforts, assisting in the operational management of the store, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with merchandising standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with retail experience preferred, and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
