Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) will manage store operations and staff in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This role focuses on driving sales, achieving individual and store goals, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include assisting with operational goals, monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance with visual merchandising standards, and maintaining store cleanliness. Candidates should have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with a drive to achieve results and a teamwork mentality.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds.
