Job Summary
The Manager in Training will manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This role requires demonstrating leadership to drive sales, assisting management in operational goals, handling merchandise presentation, and ensuring store cleanliness. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service and communication skills, be organized, and possess problem-solving abilities. A minimum of 2 years retail experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred, though flexibility and adaptability are also crucial for success in this position.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
