Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) is an entry-level management role responsible for fully managing the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store and Assistant Managers. Key responsibilities include driving sales and profitability, maintaining high levels of customer service, assisting with operational goals, evaluating staff performance, and ensuring visual merchandising standards are met. Successful candidates will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as problem-solving abilities and a passion for the brand.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds.
