Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) will oversee the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding store and individual goals. Responsibilities include assisting in communication of operational goals, monitoring performance metrics, maintaining merchandise presentation, and ensuring store cleanliness. Applicants must have strong customer service skills, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills, while demonstrating enthusiasm for the brand and an ability to lead a team effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem-solving skills
- Ability to demonstrate timely execution and compliance
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Communication and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred
- College degree a plus but not required
Additional Requirements
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
