Job Summary
Lead store operations by managing staff and driving sales and profitability while achieving established goals. Assist Store Manager in communicating directives, monitoring performance metrics like sales volume and unit per transaction, and ensuring compliance with floor set guides and Visual Merchandising standards. Recognize customer merchandise needs, oversee markdowns and transfers, and maintain cleanliness across the sales floor and stockroom. Execute timely floor set updates and promotions while demonstrating proper leadership and problem-solving skills. Requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and responding to store alarms as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2+ years' experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required
- Communication and organizational skills
