Missouri Paramedic

Job Summary
Perform patient care under the direction of Registered Nurse and/or Physician, including phlebotomy, peripheral IV catheter placement, and IV therapy initiation. Collaborate with RN to modify care plans and report on intervention effectiveness. Roles require proficient communication with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team, along with application of safety and infection control measures. Essential functions include assisting with patient care and performing delegated interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Current Missouri Paramedic or Community Paramedicine license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) upon Hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 Days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 Days
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months' EMT experience
