Job Summary
Lead a team in developing advanced Mission Systems capabilities for an Air Dominance Fixed Wing Proprietary Program, overseeing requirements decomposition, software development, and integration testing. Drive programmatic execution while developing, tracking, and communicating metrics to quantify technical and business performance. Interface daily with customers and program office teams to ensure systems engineering integrity, technical quality, and mission assurance. Enforce engineering excellence across people, processes, and tools, managing supplier execution and compliance with established requirements. Provide mentorship through coaching and performance evaluations while planning resource allocation to meet program goals. Requires a Secret Security Clearance and 100% onsite presence at Berkeley, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- 5 years' related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- OR have completed the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership.'
- 3+ years of experience in leading Mission Systems development and Integration
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
- A final Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
- Successful candidates for this job must satisfy Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher
- Experience integrating Mission Systems equipment
- Experience with Mission Systems Open Architecture Standards
- Experience executing in an Agile work environment and implementing Agile Methodologies
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively at multiple levels (peers, executive leaders, and customers)
- Proven track record of execution in a development environment
- Experience with modern software development methodologies to include DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in MSOSA or similar Model Based Systems Engineering tools
- Experience across multiple phases of the product life-cycle
- Experience applying Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) to include project planning / scheduling and applying Earned Value Management (EVM).
- In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
