Job Summary

Generate reports, procedures, and plans supporting the TDD-SID mission while performing engineering studies for aviation platform design, integration, and testing. Conduct test preparation and execution for R&D activities, including material, sub-component, and environmental testing per military standards. Develop modeling and simulation environments, system architectures, and verification plans. Provide systems engineering support for technical performance measures, post-test data analysis, and human-in-the-loop evaluations. Monitor program execution, document results, and present findings at technical meetings and government briefings. Requires a B.S. in engineering with eight years of aviation R&D experience and modeling simulation expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree In the field of Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering from an ABET accredited program including differential and integral calculus, electrical fields and circuits, and other comparable engineering science or physics
  • Minimum of eight years of experience with the generation of test plans, analysis, and reports specific to aviation and/or R&D programs
  • Ability to present these findings at technical interchange meetings and senior level briefings
  • Minimum of eight years of experience with Modeling and Simulation theory and implementation of testing environments
