Job Summary
Mission Systems Architect at MANTECH supporting the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab in Stafford, VA. Define and translate mission objectives into system architectures and design specifications per DoDAF/UAF, develop CONOPs and performance models, apply MBSE to maintain mission architectures, lead integration/verification/validation across the program lifecycle, and collaborate with analysts, warfighters, developers, and SMEs to align mission objectives with system capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or related engineering discipline, with exposure to complex systems and architectures. A total of 12 years’ experience without a degree
- Hands-on experience applying DoDAF and/or UAF for system architecture definition, visualization, and documentation
- Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Cameo) and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies, including modeling and simulation tools (e.g., SysML, MATLAB, Simulink)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly across multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders
