Job Summary
Lead and participate in effective Young Life ministry through spiritual development, leadership training, resource fundraising, and direct contact work with adolescents. Manage finances with stewardship and accountability using mission-wide applications while maintaining accurate records for kids, leaders, and donors. Set yearly strategic ministry plans to reach every kid and actively engage in summer and school-season camping strategies. Adhere to all Young Life policies regarding religious belief, conduct, and professional communication during office hours.
Required Qualifications
- Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
- Subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff, including the Young Life Statement of Faith
- Be ready, willing and able to fulfill such ministry functions as may be required by the organization
- Refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life
- Abide by all policies and practices of Young Life including, without limitation, those related to religious belief or ministry activities
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
