Job Summary
Contribute to all aspects of mission performance for space observation programs, including requirements flow-down, end-to-end simulation and ground processor prototyping, instrument characterization/calibration/validation plans, and support for in-flight CAL/VAL operations; collaborate with instrument and engineering teams to maintain mission performance budgets and develop models/tools for system-wide assessment.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant physical science or engineering subject
- demonstrated experience in performance assessment of optical instrumentation for atmospheric observation
- experience with Earth limb observation systems
- proficiency with MATLAB and Python
- fluency in English
