Job Summary
Mission Manager within Defense Unicorns' Army Domain acts as a technical leader to translate Army mission requirements into actionable work and delivery plans. Coordinates cross-functional delivery across engineering teams to ensure secure software and platform capabilities for Army missions, supports customer success and adoption, and contributes to proposals and engineering-quality efforts. Requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance; experience in defense programs, government contracting, and agile delivery is preferred. Remote work within the United States (Remote - USA) is offered.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret Clearance
- Prior Army experience or government contractor experience with Army programs (preferred)
- Experience delivering software, cloud, platform, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps solutions
- Experience coordinating work across technical teams and stakeholders
- Understanding of Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, DevSecOps practices, or modern software delivery concepts
- Experience gathering requirements and translating customer needs into technical solutions
- Strong communication and briefing skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Active Secret Clearance required; Top Secret preferred
