Mission Director (Secret Clearance)

Mission Director leading 24/7 Mission Operations Center, managing an eight-plus person shift team to execute ground and flight operations for a satellite constellation and associated ground infrastructure. Responsible for mission success, systems performance, incident management from prioritization to recovery, and maintaining situational awareness of mission planning and operations activities. Establishes and enforces training and operational procedures, coordinates with spacecraft support teams and leadership across disciplines, and communicates operational status, milestones, and mitigations to stakeholders. Requires U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance, with ongoing ability to obtain TS/SCI with poly as applicable; position based in Longmont, CO with on-site responsibilities in a 24/7 environment. Interacts with management, engineering, planning, IT, and production teams; interviews, trains, coaches, and supports career development of team members.
