Job Summary
The Mission Critical Plus (MC+) Project Superintendent leads and enforces a strong safety culture while overseeing field operations on small to medium-sized retrofit, upgrade, and tenant improvement projects in active data center environments. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, managing schedules and budgets, maintaining safety compliance, and developing strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Candidates should have at least five years of construction superintending experience, preferably in mission-critical environments, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of project construction superintending experience is required
- Proven history of leading others successfully and to teach, develop and mentor others
- Excellent leadership skills with a desire to mentor, coach, and develop a team
- Ability to compare and analyze various systems and related cost impacts
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to balance and prioritize projects with impending deadlines
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong negotiation skills
- Business acumen and relationship building skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Apple products (iPhone & iPad) and have the ability to learn specific software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mission-critical data center facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare or other operational environments is preferred
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure systems including electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and structured cabling is beneficial
- Solid systems experience with Prolog, JDE, and SureTrack is preferred
